On Monday 20, at 11:00, in the Tabakalera cinema, the French filmmaker Céline Sciamma, whose film Petite maman will screen in Perlak, will participate in one of the conversations with the film students selected in Nest.
Céline Sciamma (Pontoise, France. 1980) has distributed her work between collaborations with directors and the writing and directing of film and television projects. Naissance des pieuvres (2007), her first feature film, was selected for Un Certain Regard at the Festival de Cannes and won the Louis Delluc Award for Best First Film. Tomboy (2011), her second film, premiered in the Panorama section of Berlin Festival and Bande de filles (Girlhood, Perlak) opened the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs at Cannes in 2014. That same event distinguished Portrait de la jeune fille en feu (Portrait of a Lady on Fire, 2019) with the Best Screenplay Award. Petite maman competed at Berlin Festival.
