Michael Pisaro

Guitarist and composer. He is a member of the group of composers Wandelweiser and he has written compositions for many combinations of instruments. Many of these have been published by means of publishing houses like Wandelweiser Records, Erstwhile, Another Timbre, Cathnor or his own one, Gravity Wave. Before achieving a position as a teacher in the California Institute of Arts in the year 2000, it taught composition and musical theory in the university Northwestern. Nowadays, he is also a teacher visitor of the department of Harvard's music.
