Film maker and musician looking at the tragicomedy of surrealist love, double lives and everyday darkness. His first two feature films, Your Lost Memories (2012) and Después de la Generación Feliz (After the Happy Generation) (2014), used recovered home movies to explore memory. These were followed by Un lloc on caure mort (A Place to Rest Your Bones, 2014), a documentary on the possibility of managing family, the middle class and punk music, and La Extranjera (The Female Foreigner, 2015), a documentary/science fiction hybrid that reflects on tourist invasions in the city of Barcelona. His latest pieces are the feature film Quiero lo Eterno (I Want the Eternal, 2017) – part fiction, part documentary construction on adolescent nihilism, part end-of-the-world fantasy – and the short film Corre Brilla Luz Luz (Run Shine Light Light, 2018), a poetic fable about vagrancy, unease and the negative impact of civilisation on nature.
