Mikel Zatarain

Script writer and producer from Donostia. A student of Víctor Erice, Abbas Kiarostami and Chantal Akerman, among other film-makers.

His works addresses issues such as collective memory, identity and ethics using experimental narrative, and are part of the collection in the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid. He has exhibited at international festivals including Punto de Vista, Brussels Short Film Festival, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Alcances, Huesca, Les Inattendus, and in emblematic venues such as the Anthology Film Archives in New York.
