Miren Arzalluz holds a BA in History from the University of Deusto, an MA in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and an MA in Art History with a specialisation in Costume History from the Courtauld Institute of Art.

She was responsible for the collection and exhibitions of the Cristóbal Balenciaga Foundation from 2006 to 2013, when she published her book Cristóbal Balenciaga La forja del Maestro (1895-1936) (Nerea, 2010).

Between 2013 and 2017 he curated several fashion exhibitions in collaboration with museums such as the Palais Galliera, the Musée de l'histoire de l'immigration in Paris, the Museo de Bellas Artes in Bilbao and the MoMu in Antwerp.

She has been director of the Palais Galliera since January 2018.
