"January 2016. It's been six months since my love affair is over. At 45, I live completely alone in a small rural village: no car, no work, no prospects for the future; surrounded by lush nature that fails to appease my despair. November attacks have plunged France into a state of emergency and I feel powerless, lost. My last refuge is cinema: I decide to film this personal stalemate by editing the blueprints of the torrent of movies that I see incessantly." Frank Beauvais
