At Immaterial 2024 festival, as usual, music will also have its place. There will be live presentations of projects by artists who combine technology and digital practices with music. This year, with the launch of a collaboration with Dabadaba, a wide-ranging programme has been prepared. In the afternoon and evening, the concerts will take place both in Tabakalera and Dabadaba.

Artist and music producer born and raised in Madrid, Nina Emocional is an artist who is making her mark in the world of experimental electronic music and pop, thanks to an innovative and experimental sound proposal. Each of her creations is a unique expression of her free and creative spirit. In addition to being a singer and producer, Nina is also influenced by her work as a performer and by addressing important issues through her art. As a queer artist, Nina Emotional is an important voice in the LGBTQ+ community and uses her art to express her true identity and promote inclusion and diversity.

Tami T makes dance friendly electronic pop music with explicit romantic lyrics. Four years ago she released her debut album ”High Pitched and Moist” and her music has been featured in the film “Something Must Break” and in the Norwegian TV series SKAM. She has worked with Fever Ray, Gnučči and Putochinomaricón and has composed music for several theatre- and dance performances. With DIY instruments, sparkling synth melodies and clubby beats she covers the dance floor and our minds in pink glitter.

Is the virtual avatar of Sr. Guayaba, producer and recognizable name of Fanso, a collective of lo-fi, rap and hip-hop (Cráneo, Lasser) and his label, Guayaba Records. In this fruity matrioshka of identities, Guayaba emerges as a character with digital anime characteristics in his latest work, Ronin. In this session Guayaba will perform from the depths of vr-chat in a virtual presentation that will connect the room with the virtual space from which the producer will perform.

Chenta Tsai Tseng with his alter ego PUTOCHINOMARICÓN has managed to transcend time. With his proposal he has been able to penetrate the feeling of accelerated, difficult, virtual, unpredictable times. He is the one who has managed to represent the post-millennial emotions, to challenge the sounds of the most current pop. A migrant of Chinese origin, he is an architect, musician, activist, an intelligent, committed and defiant creature. A sweet being as well as acid, a unique and unrepeatable character in love with the pop culture of the last decades.
In this session he presents a first sample of Palettes Vol.1, a new musical work in progress composition, designed as a satirical critique of passive consumption or "second screening" of music in the digital age. It denounces how music's own identity is diluted, and becomes dependent on content creators and their use of it in their videos, its potential to go viral and its possibility of synchronization in audiovisual projects. Palettes are an instrumental musical composition, generally free in its form.
