Ergosfera are a group of paperless architects (operating as an association for ten years and as a worker cooperative nowadays) that develop research and urban intervention projects from A Coruña. Although they started in 2006 by organizing workshops and making direct urban actions, today their work is focused on the development of critical research projects and theoretical hypotheses shared as free knowledge pending discussion and experimentation. And for this they use every opportunity that appears (ethically and politically acceptable, of course), either from the field of urbanism or cultural production.

Faced with the approaches that only convey capitalist logics through an idea of denatured city, where all ideology clings to the control as the only urban planning tool, they question concepts such as emptiness, degradation or ugliness, as we work with others as externality, incrementalism or emergency. They are interested in everything that emanates from the city, understand the whys of things outside urban disciplinary prejudices about the formal and the informal. They work with the generic and the marginal, with repetition and difference, with new urban situations linked to infrastructure, to the margins or to the popular. The experimental, whether in the field of autonomy, commons or other natures, is just happening somewhere. They are part of the Collective Architectures network. They are city supporters.
