MICHEL GAZTAMBIDE (Apt, France. 1959). Film and television scriptwriter. He has participated in the writing of more than a dozen feature films: Vacas, by Julio Medem, La caja 507, La vida mancha, No habrá paz para los malvados, for which he won a Goya award, and Libertad, by Enrique Urbizu, Chatarra, by Félix Rotaeta, Baztán, by Iñaki Elizalde, El idioma imposible, by Rodrigo Rodero, Petra, by Jaime Rosales, Way Down, by Jaume Balagueró, and Cerrar los ojos, by Víctor Erice. He has also participated in television series for Mediaset (Vuelo IL8714, El padre de Caín) and Movistar (Gigantes, La línea invisible, Libertad).

He has extensive teaching experience in private schools (EQZE, Escac, Bande à part, Larrotxene, Aula de Cine Sarobe, Tutorial DAMA and Tutorial Fundación Carolina-Ibermedia), and universities (University of Navarra, Menendez Pelayo International University, Universidad Carlos III, Pompeu Fabra University, Universidad Politécnica de Valencia). He directed the short film Hombre sin hombre (2002) and has written poetry books such as Ternura blindada and Moscas en los incunables.
