BEGIRADAK

Within the Begiradak International Amateur Film Festival, organized by Ikertze, the Forum on Cinema and Education is held every year. This Forum is attended by people linked to cinema in our community, as well as teachers from the UPV and other educational centers.

It is a space for reflection and analysis around a framework theme that we choose each year at the Festival. This year the framework theme on which we work is the representation of women in cinema, stereotypes, gender vision and aesthetic violence. Cinema as a creator of sociocultural imaginaries, and how these imaginaries have been changing with the incorporation of women to more central departments of the film sector.
