Pablo Camacho is a Biochemist, Oceanographer, Scientific Communicator, and Cultural Manager. He has worked to develop educational, artistic, and cultural activities at the National Oncological Research Centre (CNIO) and as a writer on the scientific dissemination programme Órbita Laika (La 2, Radio Televisión Española). Camacho is currently working on Scientific and Innovation Culture at the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) - Ministry of Science and Innovation, coordinating and managing projects that promote scientific culture, active and inclusive participation in science, and the interconnection of ACTS (Art-Science-Technology-Society). 

The FECYT works as a public service that is geared towards citizens. Specifically, its mission is to catalyse the relationship between science and society, driving growth in Spanish scientific culture, and encouraging knowledge transfer through dissemination, education, training, information, and guidance. Camacho collaborates with other agents and actors from the Science, Technology, and Innovation System on the globalisation of Spanish science and data production and analysis, supporting the management of scientific information and open-access science.
