The students of the University of the Basque Country are proud to present the Youngsters at the cinema project.
As film enthusiasts, we have selected six films that will be screened once a month from January to June 2024.
This project is a way of showing, as young people, our passion for film experiences and our excitement at being able to share them on the Tabakalera public screen.
We could say that the common thread between the films chosen is the importance of the soundtrack but, at the same time, we have selected very diverse films. From contemporary films to cinema classics, animation and different genres. We have programmed films directed by both women and men. All this in order to demonstrate the diversity of cinema.
We believe that there is a demand from our generation in the film world and what we are offered does not meet it. This is why there is a collaboration between public entities to invite us to make proposals that are interesting for young people. Even so, we believe that our selection can appeal not only to young audiences, but to all kinds of audiences.
