In 1994, Garikoitz started introducing himself to the world of graffiti in the city of San Sebastian, which let him find this form of expression and work, a space for reflection, development, and analysis of painting, the message in the urban space, as well as the relationship between people in cities with artistic expressions and their balance.

For many years, he has worked with different agents and institutions, creating and presenting projects in very different formats, all closely related to urban art.

He currently directs the GKo gallery, coordinates the BEANTATUZ Urban Art Festival, and has recently collaborated in the direction of the Street tARTar Festival for DSS2016.

He continues to run a line of urban paint under the name TXORI·A, which allows him to maintain a constant, real connection with graffiti and urban art.

In addition, occasionally he also works creating signs, reflecting on image and aesthetics, as well as how the message and value of the image is interpreted. Highlights include the sign for STOP WAR Festibala or the 48 Tolosa International Mass Choirs Competition.

He also completes specific work in silk-screen printing for designers and artists, creating signage and limited editions, ensuring that traditional, manual work survives with this technique, with the hope of preserving and passing-on this old-fashioned way of printing and reproduction.
