Aitziber Alonso Pikabea

She completed her studies in Fine Arts at the Faculty of Leioa in 1994. Since then she has been devoted to illustration. She worked at Arteleku for twelve years. She designs and builds literary fairs for the Galtzagorri Child and Youth Literature Association. In addition to illustrating dozens of books by Basque authors, she closely collaborates with several authors preparing picture books. Yolanda Arrieta is one of them. She has been the chairwoman of the above mentioned association from 2011 to 2014. She coordinates the Marrazioak sessions, which deal with picture books, in addition to teaching workshops on this format.
