Nina Möntmann

Nina Möntmann is a curator, critic and writer based in Hamburg. She is a Professor of Art Theory and of the History of Ideas at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm. She has edited (amongst other books) Art and its Institutions (Black Dog Publishing, 2006), Scandalous. A Reader on Art and Ethics (Sternberg Press, 2013), and a volume about Harun Farocki, Brave  New Work: A Reader on Harun Farockï’s Film “A New Product”  (Walther König, 2014). She has written about ‘New Institutionalisms’ and curated various exhibitions, including Artists rethinking the (mal) functions of community (The Power Plant, Toronto, 2009).
