Arrate Iturbe Recondo (Tolosa, 1983) is an agricultural and rural technician, and currently lives in Larraul. Her deep ties with the natural and rural environment have led her to dedicate herself to various projects and professional activities, always with a commitment to sustainability and quality products.
In 2020 he created the Mellifera Beekeeping Project, driven by her passion for beekeeping and organic food. With this project, she intends to deepen his knowledge of organic beekeeping and make it her main profession in the medium term. At the moment, she produces pollen, honey and propolis organically, obtaining quality products and processing them responsibly.
However, Arrate's activities are not limited to beekeeping: she is also involved in gardening, horticulture and plant care, and the nature of Larraul offers her an unique opportunity to combine them. She closely follows the changes in colour, smell and flavour offered by the seasons, which are closely linked to nature.
Currently she also works as a freelance on various projects and as a disseminator of knowledge on issues related to nature and sustainable food. Her aim is to teach society to relate directly and respectfully to the environment, and to promote this in her activities.
