For over 20 years, Jose has been writing summaries of his work, like this one, talking about himself in the third person. In the gaps in between, he has written for the press (El Diario, Público, Rolling Stone, Orsai, etc.) and radio (Cadena SER, Radio Euskadi) and, above all, he has written scripts for television, both entertainment (“El Hormiguero”, “El club de la comedia”, “Homo Zapping”, etc.) and fiction (“Su majestad”, “Caminantes”, etc.). He is the creator of several informative television programmes, including Órbita Laika and Ovejas Eléctricas, both on Channel 2 of TVE.
He has also published three novels (“Esto no es una historia de amor”, “Un lugar al que volver” and “Cementerio de secretos”) and two comics drawn by illustrator Álex Orb (“Los enciclopedistas” and “El invasor”).
What concerns us here, however, is his work as a creator of sound fiction. In this context, he is the scriptwriter of “El gran apagón”, “Guerra 3”, “La quiebra” and “La firma de Dios”. The latter won two Ondas del Podcast Awards, for best script and best sound fiction.
