Taxio Ardanaz

Pamplona 1978. Holding a degree in Fine Arts from the UPV/EHU, in recent years he has been developing his work in Italy (Royal Academy of Spain in Rome), Iraqi Kurdistan (Amna Suraka), Cuba (Artista x Artista), Austria (Kunsthaus Bregenz), Bilbao (BilbaoArte Foundation), and Mexico (Oficina de Arte). He has exhibited individually in Madrid at the Tabacalera Art Promotion, in Bilbao at the CarrerasMugica Gallery, in Havana at Artista x Artista, in Mexico City at Ateneo Español de México, and in Pamplona at El Sario, UPNA.

Taixo is interested in artistic manifestations produced through specific historical processes of conflict to develop research based fundamentally on painting and its installation component.
