Virginia García

Virginia García is an active partner of the Department of Astronomy, where she develops diffusion and education projects related to the observation of the sky. She joined the Executive Board of the Aranzadi Science Society in 2016.

She worked for eight years as a planetarian at the Science Museum in San Sebastian, where she also coordinated activities to promote scientific culture. In Aranzadi she collaborates in particular organising workshops and teaching courses for adults, youths and children. She education is in Sociocultural Technique, specialising in Social Education for groups at risk of exclusion, and also in the Management of cultural projects and spaces.
