Independent journalist (collaborating with Gara, Al Jazeera, Vicenews, Middle East Eye and Deutsche Welle) although he has also published in other media (The Diplomat Magazine, El Mundo, 5W, etc.). He has tackled issues related to conflicts and human rights in Syria, Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan, among other places.

Awards and recognition: NAB reporting award (2009), Argia Saria (2012), Rikardo Arregi Saria (2012), 1st Photographic Social Vision Investigative Journalism Grant (2016).
