Elena Aitzkoa, Apodaka 1984. Her artistic practice includes sculpture, drawing, poetry, performance and film. Her creations are a heterogeneous ecosystem that draws on physical and emotional elements from the environment and life experience, placing the focus and energy on the poetic configuration of matter and beauty as a linking element between beings.

Her projects include Ur Aitzak (2022-2024) as an associate artist at Azkuna Zentroa; Headscarfs Close to the Ground, as part of Oslo Pilot (2016); the film Nuestro amor pertenece a la Edad Media (2018) and the vinyl of poems and whistles Paraíso terrenal (2019). Her solo exhibitions include Brote de Peral (Centro de Arte La Panera, Lleida, 2022), Zarza Corazón (Museo Patio Herreriano in Valladolid, 2019), and Lendia Song (Azkuna Zentroa, Bilbao, 2021). In the field of performance, she has shown her work in many venues, including Museo Reina Sofía (Madrid), Museo de Bellas Artes (Bilbao), Ftarri (Tokyo), Sonic Circuits Festival (Washington), Audible Area (Chengdu), etc.

In 2015 he received the Gure Artea Award for creative activity.
