Lehior Bilbao

He studied Fine Arts at Bilbao and Cuenca. He likewise did a Master in Art Research and Creation, during which he made his first publication on paper with Peligroso y Refugio Publishing Company, the design of which was directed by Gaby Wallace Studios.

Eleven years ago, in Cuenca, he got his first album into a bar, he formed his first group, gave his first concert with his back to the audience to be able to play, and made his first radio programme in the classroom of José Antonio Sarmiento, head of the Department of Sound Arts. Since then, everything has steadily evolved, there have been more releases, more concerts, more notebooks, more books, he has built instruments, he has taken home any electronic device he has come across, he has recorded the sound of countless places and, above all, he has done a lot of listening. Listening to everything from the noise of the river to that of the cars that pass by on the right, as well as all the sounds that occur in Dabadaba – a place that has made him cry of joy and of rage and a place that makes him want what we can't see to be what brings us together and makes us shine.

For a year, he has been doing solo live shows in which the premise is for it to be something that transforms him, not something that he plays to different audiences – and he has been preparing things alongside people he loves.
