Elisabeth Lorenzi

Elisabeth Lorenzi is a technical designer, social anthropologist and practitioner of social intervention techniques.

Her work is characterised by raising awareness about and promoting collaborative and open processes in textile creation and production. She promotes prototyping processes in interaction with the context and exploring new forms of documentation.

Her most outstanding project in this field is Textil en Abierto (Open textiles), which aims to investigate processes of social innovation in the textile and clothing fields, taking shape in the form of a Textile Laboratory involving the use of collaborative methodologies, open source technologies and a shared record of the processes used.
