Nere Pagola

Nere Pagola studied Production at the Andoain Film and Video School. She began her film career as an assistant film editor, working on different productions. In 1995, she made her debut with the short film Margarita en octubre. In 1996, she went to New York to continue her training. There, she completed a Master's Degree in Film Production at The New School University and continued making short films, in addition to doing several documentaries for Canal+, amongst others. From 1991 to 2001, she worked as a technical supervisor at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. In 2006, she returned to the Basque Country for good and she began to work in the Technical Department of the Basque Film Archive.
