Adrián Orr was born in Madrid in 1981. He has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid. He studied at the Lisbon Film School (ESTC), where he worked as a director of photography.

His first short film was Las hormigas (2007). De caballeros, his second film, was premiered internationally at IDFA 2011 and screened at several festivals around the world, obtaining the nomination for best European short film at the Go Short film festival 2012, as well as several awards at some of the most important Spanish festivals.

Buenos días resistencia, his third short film, had its world premiere at IFF Rotterdam 2013. It won awards such as the award for best documentary short film in Vila do Conde 2013, best short film at the Adana Golden Boll FF, best ethno-anthropological film in the Popoli Documentary Film Festival and best short film in the Film Week of the Community of Madrid for Caiman Cuadernos de Cine.

And now, after continuing filming the family of Buenos días resistencia, he presents his first feature film, in which there is a close dialogue between fiction and documentary.
