Yannick Guédon is a French born composer, singer and performance artist.

His work focuses on tiny variations of timbres, the inner pulsation sensations and subjective notions of time, silence and error. He pays particular attention to the place and context in which each musical situation is displayed.
From 2006 to 2010, he composed several pieces, from solo to quintet, with voice as a central medium, using its extended possibilities of timbres.

In 2011 he initiated the cycle of sound situations a _ t e m p _ s, with voice, treble viola da gamba and electroacoustic setup as main instruments. Since 2015, he has developped the cycle chaque chose ; the first piece was commissioned by the dedalus ensemble, the second in 2016 by the duo Busolini/Walker ; in 2018, a piece for 7 singers will be premiered in the radome of Saint-Nazaire - France.

He has also performed with/for the following musicians, composers among others : Antoine Beuger, Rodolphe Bourotte, Pascale Criton, Mattieu Delaunay, Julia Eckhardt, Bryan Eubanks, Jürg Frey, Loïc Guénin, Kristoff K.Roll, Catherine Lamb, Rebecca Lane, Michael Pisaro, Éliane Radigue, Michael Schmid, Roland Hayrabedian's contemporary chamber choir.
