Paul Mínguez-Olaondo

Paul Mínguez-Olaondo qualified as a telecommunications engineer specialising in telematics at the University of Navarre (TECNUN). He is an active member of the Aranzadi Science Society and has sat on its board since 2012. He studied music in the San Sebastián Conservatory and qualified as a teacher in 1999.

He works in Gipuzkoan companies such as AKTING and SEMATEC which specialise in consulting and information and communication technologies applied to industry. A member of the Astronomy Department of Aranzadi, a collaboration between the Science Museum in San Sebastián and Aranzadi enabled him to help develop a radio telescope as part of NASA’s Radio Jove project, the main goal of which is to capture radio waves emitted by Jupiter. He currently takes part in science dissemination activities, including Astronomy Fridays and other events promoted by the Astronomy Department.
