Cristina Mejías

Cristina Mejías (1986, Jerez de la Frontera, Spain). A multidisciplinary visual artist, Cristina holds a Fine Arts degree from the European University of Madrid and the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, and also gained a Master of Research from the Complutense University of Madrid. With the help of European grant funding she moved to Berlin in 2010 and spent four years in the city. In 2014 she returned to Madrid after being selected in TheGymProgramme (Rampa Project). Her most recent works use video installations to look at time, narration and language. Her work has recently been exhibited in MACZUL (Maracaibo), Ranchito Matadero Madrid/Galerias Municipais (Lisbon), Artothèque (Pessac, Bordeaux),TEA (Tenerife) Laboral (Gijón), Fundación Mendoza (Caracas), CAAC (Seville) and CentroCentro (Madrid), among others.
