María Zapata Hidalgo

María Zapata Hidalgo is trained in psychology, anthropology, feminist studies and performing arts, and since 2010 she has carried out several projects in Catalonia and the Basque Country, within different areas such as community theatre, the theatre of the oppressed and theatre pedagogy for adults. She has also participated in the organisation of events such as the 1st Theatre of the Oppressed European Meeting, or the 1st Theatre of the Oppressed Conference in the Basque Country. She is a co-founder of AntzerkiZ and also part of AFIT-Antropología Ikerketa Taldea, at the University of the Basque Country, where she is currently working on research in anthropology.
