Actress, screenwriter and director, born in Barcelona. She made her directorial debut with the feature film Julia ist (in which she also starred). With this debut, she received the “Silver Biznaga” for Best Film and Best Director in the Zonacine section of the Malaga Festival.
As an actress, she debuted in cinemas with Les amigues de l’Àgata (by Laia Alabart, Marta Verheyen, Laura Rius Arán and Alba Cros) and has participated in Con el viento (Meritxell Colell), presented in the Forum Section of the Berlin Festival, Unicorns (Álex Lora) and the Goya-winning short Suc de síndria (Irene Moray), among others.
As a director and screenwriter, she has worked on fiction projects such as Vida perfecta by Leticia Dolera, Veneno by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi and En casa, the HBO series. Her second feature film, Creatura, premiered at the Cannes Directors’ Fortnight where it received the Europa Cinemas Award for Best European Film. Selected in the Made in Spain section of the San Sebastian Festival, Creatura recently won the San Sebastian-Gipuzkoa Film Commission Award and the Dunia Ayaso Award, both for Best Film.
