Martin Allais is a Venezuelan audiovisual producer, animator and illustrator who lives between Barcelona and New York.

He began his career at the Sonar Festival with live performances for Kid Koala, LCD Soundsystem, De la Soul, Madlib, Dj Rocc, Diplo among others, and then focused his career on mixed media animation making video clips and commercials that have given him visibility at festivals. and platforms such as Vimeo Staff Picks, AICP, Cannes, Klik animation festival, SXSW and Sundance, and brands such as Oreo, Facebook, Samsung and Dr. Pepper as part of the list of directors of 1stAveMachine, an international production company with offices in Los Angeles, New York and London.

Her most recent project, “Battlescar: Punk was invented by girls,” set amidst the raging punk scene in New York City in the 1970s, is narrated by Rosario Dawson and premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Since its premiere, it has gone through more than 30 Festivals around the world and more than 8 awards for Best VR Narrative experience.
