KohaFerence 2015

KohaFerence will be the first meeting in the Spanish State of users and people who are interested in the free software Koha. Although an increasing number of projects and institution have opted for this library management system, it's necessary a space to share experiences, challenges and problems. It is also a wish that this conference will be an opportunity to meet, learn and collaborate on Koha.

The conference is organized in three lines of work:

- General talk about Koha with the goal of making a general presentation of the history and state of this Integrated Library System and his international community.

- Presentation of projects and concrete experiences with the goal of appreciating the diversity of projects that use this document management tool.

- Participatory workshops which aims are to analyze and present needs and possible projects of Koha.

KohaFerence will be completed with a mapping of the Koha projects in the Spanish State. KohaFerence will be also an opportunity to know each other and start a new common project, the Spanish Koha community.
