Climate change has had the worst marketing campaign of all time, and this Climabar is coming to change.
The gravity of the climate crisis is not reaching the population as expected. Yes, we've seen a climate rise in recent years, because there's a need for future measures, but it seems that outside of the ecological bubble the problem hasn't come. If we're talking about the biggest crisis we've had to deal with... Why don't we care so much?
That's what Belén Hinojar and Carmen Huidobro asked, two people from different worlds, all their lives. Belén comes from the advertising world , and it's creative by profession, while Carmen comes from the environmental science world, dedicated to communication for climate change. Belém didn't understand how the biggest advertising campaigns were designed for companies that contribute to the climate crisis. Carmen was frustrated to see that the message didn't come out of the green circle.
The climate crisis is not another environmental problem: it is a social and economic crisis. And for this purpose they must communicate in a different manner, with a great deal of creativity. This creative and environmental duplication has given rise to a new style of climate communication with pills less than 10 minutes everyone to understand.
