Ruben Östlund

This month our focus is dedicated to the Swedish film director Ruben Östlund (1974, Styrsö). His last film Turist won the Jury Prize of the Un Certain Regard section of the 2014 Cannes film festival. This award introduced to the world one of those filmmakers that dissect the contemporary society, the welfare state and its contradictions. The activited isn completed with the presence of the director that will introduce his work. 

The focus is organized in collaboration with La Casa Encendida from Madrid.
