The work of the artist Claudia Pagès Rabal (Barcelona, 1990)  unfolds and contracts in multiple ways. In her process, word, body and movement circulate in multiple directions, tracing a tangled linguistic web of micro-narratives, which pass through critical listening to the immediate environment and its recording, through tenacious writing. Depending on the vital moment and the circumstances of the artitst, her practice can take on a textual, performative and/or objectual body, in a purely vital drive to contain and capture the scattered map of habits, paths, relationships and conversations that make up our daily lives. Choreographic urbanism writing, queer politics and translation are her main strategies for tracing new systems of commodity distribution and economies of gentrification.

Pagès has given talks and performances in centers such as La Casa Encendida, Madrid (2021, 2016), Es Baluard, Mallorca (2021), Perdu, Amsterdam, (2020), Rile, Brussels (2020), The Wheelshunters Social Club & Jupiter Woods, London (2019), HAU2 & CreamCake, Berlin (2019), CentroCentro, Madrid (2019), MACBA, Barcelona (2019), Les Bains, Paris (2019), Gasworks, London (2018), Sharjah Art Foundation, Sharjah United Arab Emirates (2018), Ca2M, Madrid (2017), RAI10 / Arthena Foundation, Düsseldorf (2016), Moderna Museet, Stockholm (2015).
