We continue with the season focused on. Portuguese cinema. Once a month we invite a contemporary filmmaker to present their work and to choose a film related to Portugal that is a reference for their career.
Gabriel Abrantes. The new, the young, the daring, the enfant terrible, the erotic, the provocative, the Portuguese “foreigner", the kitsch, the pop, the rock, the comedian, the postcolonial, the one who acts in his own films, the hologram specialist, the poet, the classical, the irreverent, the electronic, the filmmaker... Abrantes is one of those special directors who cannot be classified. Since his early works he has been to the most prestigious festivals in the world, achieving continuous support for his work. With almost twenty shorts since 2008, in this selection we present the highlights of his work.
