Chilean director Maite Alberdi makes documentaries based on her observation of the characters, memory and the portrait. Yo no soy de aquí tells the story of Josebe, a woman from Rentería who lives in an old people’s home in Chile as she remembers her childhood in the Basque Country. La once tells the story of five elderly women who have been meeting for sixty years to drink tea and talk about their lives.
