Oliver Laxe

Oliver Laxe (París, 1982). In 2010 he won the Grand Prize of Cannes' Critics' Week with his first feature film, Todos vós sodes capitáns. Born in Paris, he moved to Galicia with six years and later he studied cinema in Barcelona. In 2006, in London, he was part of the no.w.here (www.nowhere-lab.org) experimental film platform where he begun to create his first works in S-8mm and 16mm. In Cannes 2016 he won the Grand Prize of Critics' Week with his second feature film Mimosas.
