During the residency she will work with a particular set of moving images to question contemporary society’s relationship to violence. She plans to develop the project in connection to how violence has purportedly shifted away from outwardly visible forms, to those that are invisible and ever more frequently self-inflicted. Violence that is strangely the result of positivity and overachievement.
