André Habib

André Habib is an associate professor of Film Studies at the Université de Montréal. He is the author of L’attrait de la ruine (Yellow Now, 2011) and La main gauche de Jean-Pierre Léaud (Boréal, 2015) as well as co-editor of Le cinéma dans l’oeil du collectionneur (Presses de l’Université de Montréal, 2023). He has edited special issues of the journals Intermédialités, Spirale, and Found Footage Magazine.  He is also since 2002 the co-editor of the web journal Hors champ, the initiator of the audiovisual platform Zoom Out and the project Cadavre Exquis.
