Sarah Rasines is an artist and cultural manager with a preference for intersections between research, programming, teaching, creation, and independent projects (sometimes also institutional).

She holds a BA in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Rasines juggles artistic creation with doctorate research (focusing on the topic of cassettes) at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Leioa, where she has played an active role in the Ikersoinu research group (artistic space and sound research).

In 2018, she created Crystal Mine to promote musical exchange under the #anticopyright philosophy. This independent label is aimed at releasing music on cassette tape, backing fresh and daring projects based on experimentation.

In 2019, she presented Crystal Mine (Radio) for Radio Relativa, a bi-monthly programme that explores the latest trends and interests of the label through different formats.

Rasines leads self-publishing workshops at museums, libraries, festivals, and centres for art around sound: experimentation with meta-literary content and music that goes beyond music itself.
