Open and collaborative design How To Make is a series of talks, in which citizens meet, creators, architects , engineers, scientists... to share experiences about culture, creation and digital manufacturing. The rise of 3D printing allows us to take a first step in this direction. Being open source, the user or a professional can modify standard designs and tailor it to some specific needs. During the session we will analyze those financing models and its possibilities and requirements to finance technology projects. We will begin by explaining the current concept, a brief overview of the history, and some data, types and evolution. Then we will dive into the reward crowdfunding, give a battery of advises to publish a crowdfunding campaign and study some projects that have been co - funded in the field of culture mainly maker . We will end the session with a collective debate.
