Winner of the Golden Leopard at the Locarno International Film Festival in 1987 and an example of the total freedom of Morais’ cinema, which mixes genres, cinema, theatre, history, music, the past and the future, resulting in one of the most celebrated films of the 80s scene in Lisbon. In the words of his colleague and fellow film maker João Botelho: "Morais was the only romantic Portuguese director".
