The Cinema dialogues Programme is a Filmoteca Vasca (the Basque Film Archive) and Donostia/San Sebastian 2016, European Capital of Culture project. Cinema dialogues offers a series of meetings open to the public between Basque film makers and other European film makers.
The meeting between Sra. Polaroiska and Ulrike Ottinger, held in parallel with the focus devoted to the German film maker by Tabakalera during July 2016, is the third edition of this format, after the dialogue between Victor Erice and the Portuguese director Pedro Costa (November 2015) and Montxo Armendariz and Laurent Cantet from France (April 2016).
