An Icelandic volcano that paralyzes air traffic. A Fine Arts student who winds up stranded in Athens because of the volcanic ashes. A trip that has to be continued by train. A group of friends who are touring Europe via Interrail. A visit to Trieste. A young couple bathing naked in the sea, on an island. This is the story of Alvaro and Berta. He is from Madrid, she is Swedish.
This is one of those films that portray that moment of youth when everything is still possible: an encounter, a journey, a book that can change our lives forever.
