The DonostiTron initiative will publicly present a second DonostriTron arcade machine and to celebrate it we are invited to a party that will video games and music.
The group gathers to work on the topic of video games since in 2014 its restored an old arcade machine as an open project in Hirikilabs. In 2016 they organised the Donostitron Jam, a marathon for the creation of video games for the arcade machine and on this occasion they have also received the collaboration of Hirikilabs to create a new arcade machine from scratch by organising a public workshop.
To début this new machine they propose that visitors start to play different games and consoles from 18:00 in the Z Room, to then confront the two arcade machines in a fight with a classic game, Last of all, they will celebrate the day with a music concert and visual material in 8 bits by SuperBustySamuraiMonkey. The concert will also include visual material created based on video games by Entter, a visual artist from Bilbao and who will also offer a small masterclass to show how these types of images are created.
