Sra. Polaroiska aims to work using the camera and the body as they usually do in their pieces, in search of other ways to try and understand our surroundings; approaching a subject, hovering around it, and defining certain rules for the game. Creating a laboratory where letting things get out of control, where living on the margins, on the edge, where curiosity, desire and the possibility that everything can be different, can become reality.
This workshop aims to provide students with various tools to help them to develop their work from other places and other positions; where what is interesting is not completely understanding things. Limits, uncertainty, the desire that definitions should not be closed-off, as well as a willingness for there to be real communication are just some of its aims. Doing things as a system to go against what is taken for granted; looking towards the outside and the inside at the same time.
