Super Tipo Veloz is a typography system that is 75 years old but remains as young as when it was first created. It involves a surprising, modular type with which you can create both letters and illustrations. We will introduce the children who attend to the use of this typography, created by Joan Trochut in 1942. We will do this by using stamps with which they will be able to stamp and also create multiple combinations.
Everything you could possibly imagine can be built up based on a selection of Super Tipo Veloz modules. They will begin experimenting with the forms and will then go on to composing letters that will allow us to create our own Super Veloz alphabet in a fast and fun way. Come and play with typography!
Note: we will use ink in the workshop, so we strongly recommend you to come prepared with an apron or old clothes.
