This is a performative conference that talks about the city, its inhabitants, gentrification, its struggles, its celebrations… The story is based on documents that appear physically during the talk (books, photo-books, artist publications, fanzines, etc.) and find their place on the map of an imaginary city that has previously been laid out on the ground.
All the works mentioned are from the Library of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Complutense University of Madrid. Some of those used for this talk are from the collection that Gabriela Cendoya has loaned to the San Telmo Museum Library.
At the end of the conference, the audience can consult the books with their own hands.
