The purpose of this call is to offer a residency to develop an artistic project that combines technology and images. This project will be developed within the framework of the Cinema and Technology line of work that is sponsored by Fundación Banco Sabadell in Medialab, to which the participant will have to adapt in terms of proposal and approach. The call is focused on addressing questions derived from these lines: audiovisual experiences, the blending of image and sound in film with technology, analogue and digital film technologies, virtual reality development, artificial intelligence applied to image, contemporary digital reality, and film narratives relating to new technologies, among others.
Artists, creators, and cultural agents residing in the Basque Autonomous Community (hereafter, the BAC) may participate in the call, as may those from elsewhere in Spain, or abroad. An offering will be selected from among all projects presented.
The residency, which will last from four to eight weeks based on the provisions in clause 6, will provide a space, context, and time for the artistic project's development.
